When that happens...it’s time to Dream...not just a little.

Your Facilitator for "A Midsummer's Day of Dreaming"

Susan L. Westbrook, Ph.D.

Teacher and Facilitator for A Midsummer's Day of Dreaming

Do what you love to do, the way you love to do it, with the people you love to do it with and for.

Susan is a researcher, author, and Transcendent© coach whose passion is supporting her clients’ conscious creation of the lives and businesses they dream about.  A consummate learner and teacher, Susan is an enthusiastic speaker and coach who loves to bring her audiences and clients to new heights of awareness of the divinely-inspired desires and Dreams that have been planted in their Souls.

Described as a “gifted life coach, mentor, and teacher” and “lighthouse,” Susan has spent the past 13 years working as a professional coach and healer.  Believing there is magic in the movement from here to there, Susan considers herself a “movement doula.” She champions and supports her clients as they courageously journey from where they are to where they want to be.

There’s magic in the movement from here to there.

Susan is no stranger to the movement from here to there.  During her 30-plus-year career as an educator and University Professor, Susan helped design transformational teaching and learning environments for hundreds of students and teachers.  Her career capstone was founding and directing a NC charter high school for at-risk students.

After leaving the charter school, Susan found herself at a loss to figure out what was next.  She could not get a job.  She was not having success trying to get back on track.  She was spinning her wheels, feeling more and more lost.

In a mix of willingness and last resort, Susan followed a peer’s suggestion to give coach training a try.  The decision to accept that guidance led her on a grand adventure (and much learning!) to living and working in France, becoming a Reiki Master, and writing a book in Scotland (The Five Tibetans Yoga Workshop: Tone Your Body and Transform Your Life, Findhorn Press, 2014).

In the sacred dance of life, we are always in one movement or another.

Susan is now researching and writing her second book, Moving to More: The Sacred Dance of Consciously Creating Life from Your Dreams.  From that research, Susan has created a new coaching perspective called Transcendent Coaching© that takes coaches and their clients beyond the work of inner transformation to creating new realities for life and business.

Susan is the principal of Love Your Leap Coaching & Consulting, LLC.  She is a CTI-trained and Great Story Breakthrough coach. Through her collaborative, the Small Fish Business Group, Susan and her colleagues provide coaching and support for women over 50 to create businesses and legacies that will provide financial stability for their later careers and years.

More than anything...Susan is the proud mom of two gifted and caring adult children and is the irrepressibly effusive gma and gramoo of three grandsons.

Much Gratitude to Our Sponsors

Susan will share the stage with these accomplished local women who are committed to living into their BIG Dreams...

Morning Session

Dawn Sander

Dawn brought her magic touch for networking and facilitation to her role as a co-producer for this workshop.  Normally, she shares her professional experience and academic background in her bios. This time she wants to tell you more about what matters to her. She is a working mom with 21-month old twin girls and is happily married (when the twins sleep through the night). She has spent 20+years in HR and management/leadership development. Recently ...after one of those "opportunities" knocked..it was time for her to take a new look at what she wanted for her life. Dawn coaches other people, but has often felt like she was on the hamster-wheel of life. This huge change in her life allowed her to focus on what really matters to her and what her dreams are. Susan helped her do just that and Dawn will share the insights she has gained in the process.

Nanette Mattox and Leah Campbell

Leah and Nanette are the owners of Vibe Coworking Community...AKA our venue hosts!  They will share their adventure story with us and tell us more about Leah, Nanette, and Vibe.

Special Lunch Speaker

Lacy Frazer, Psy.D.

The lens through which Lacy views the journey of life, and the lens through which she teaches, leads, guides, and coaches others...

Life is a massive experience made up of millions of mini- experiences. What if every experience has a hidden meaning? What if every experience has a lesson to teach us? What if every experience is perfectly designed to show us something about us? And what if we are the creators of our own reality…of all these mini-experiences that mirror ourselves to ourselves? This would mean there are NO accidents, no coincidences, and no chance encounters. And it would also mean that we have the power to shift the negative to positive, to transform the struggles into possibilities, and to alchemize the suffering into positive growth.

Over the past 22 years, Lacy Frazer worked as a clinical psychologist in a federal prison. As she journeyed through her own life as a mental health professional, mother, parent, and spouse, she was also witnessing and guiding the journeys of men while they experienced incarceration. She quickly realized, that while these men were literally incarcerated, most of humanity is experiencing their own mental and emotional incarceration, of which they are unaware. Over time, Lacy's role in the prison became much more than a psychologist, as she realized that her purpose was to help men, from all walks of life, free themselves from themselves.

In time, Lacy has realized that the desire for mental, emotional, and spiritual freedom is not just a desire of the prison population, but a deep desire for all walking the planet today. People around the world are demanding a way out of their conditioned lives. They are seeking tools and resources to help them find meaning and purpose in their lives. They are ready to expand into their greatness by freeing themselves from themselves. Lacy Frazer Coaching & Consulting is the doorway they have been looking to walk through. It is time to take back their power and create the life they were born to live!

Motivated and inspired by the courageous and transformational work of the men Lacy worked with over the years, she retired from her job in the federal prison system in December 2017, enrolled in an Authentic Leadership Coaching Certification Program, and stepped into living her true passion: to help guide others on their journey of personal transformation.

Lacy has a Doctorate Degree in Psychology from The Georgia School of Professional Psychology and is becoming an Authentic Leadership Coach with the Raleigh Coaching Academy.
